Project Manager
Credo’s architectural division, Credo Design Architects, is seeking a full-time Project Manager. Our team of dedicated architects, designers, campus planners, project managers, and visual specialists work in a small firm environment primarily out of two offices in WI and NC. We are constantly learning while collaboratively working on projects that include student housing, academics, recreation, student centers, and athletics in both new construction and renovation. Credo Design Architects is registered and has completed projects in over 35 states across the country, providing our team with incredible experiences to explore and learn.
Position Description
This position provides an opportunity to grow and develop a career in architecture. WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Maintain a client load of 3-4 projects, including leading one major project and contributing significantly to others.
- Serve as the primary client liaison, ensuring projects remain on time, within budget, and that clients are satisfied.
- Actively manage client budgets, schedules, and programs.
- Coordinate project efforts and communications, both administrative and technical, to ensure efficient execution.
- Complete construction administration tasks and follow up on open assignments.
- Prepare proposals, AIA contracts, and manage project teams from conceptual design through construction, including coordination with outside consultants.
- Contribute to internal projects and assignments that enhance team productivity.
- Attend internal and external meetings.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Minimum 10 years’ experience working on commercial projects within the USA, demonstrated experience in higher education preferred
- Baccalaureate or Master of Architecture NAAB accredited degree
- NCARB certification would be desired or can be attained and must be a registered US Architect; LEED® AP desired
- Excellent graphic presentation skills, communication and public speaking skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to make strategic decisions that positively impact service to our clients
- Strong technical skills, understanding of building codes, ability to understand and carryout intended design direction from clients and design team
- Proficiency in Microsoft® Office required; experienced with AutoCAD®; Revit and Adobe Suite desired, but not a requirement
- Working in our Wisconsin or North Carolina office is required
- Travel within the USA will be required approximately 30-50%; must possess a valid USA driver’s license

- Competitive salary. An annualized base salary between $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications from a variety of benchmarking sources.
LOCATION
The candidate will have the option to work out of our offices in Whitsett, North Carolina or De Pere, Wisconsin. A remote working arrangement or hybrid working environment with occasional in-office time will be considered. Travel between the two offices and to client campuses is required.
TRAVEL
This position requires an extensive amount of travel around the country. Proximity to an airport is necessary for this position. Standard office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm EST.
