Brian Cook

Brian Cook (he/him/his) has always had passion for education, and he spent the first eight years of his career as a teacher and director of high school fine arts programs. Throughout his time as Associate Director in Student Services, Brian gained a knowledge of and appreciation for the challenges that university leaders face regarding program development and retention. Now, he calls on this broad experience daily in his role as a Credo Account Engagement Associate.   

Harnessing Data to Improve the Student Experience  

At Pearson, Brian developed deep expertise in the art and science of retention, including harnessing qualitative and quantitative data to drive changes in the student experience. He also gained experience in partner engagement, budgeting and forecasting, cross-functional communication, learning management system coordination, and data presentations. At Credo, Brian draws on these skills—and more—as he creates proposals and supports client engagement.   

Hooked on the Outdoors 

An avid fly fisherman, Brian enjoys spending his free time outside with his partner, Robyn, and their children, Joanna and Harrison. He also participates in habitat rehabilitation projects and fundraising activities designed to engage young people from underserved communities in the outdoors.
