Doane College Receives $20 million Shared Grant

Doane College in Crete, Nebraska, is one of seven colleges and universities to receive news they will be sharing a $20 million grant from the National Science Foundation. The five-year grant will support research focused on algae and nanotechnology. The grant will also help to increase collaboration among small and large educational institutions in Nebraska. Other institutions receiving funding include the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Creighton University, the University of Nebraska at Kearney, the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Little Priest Tribal College and Nebraska Indian Community College.
