Wesley College to Provide Sneak Peak of New Brand

Wesley College, Delaware’s oldest private college, will honor scholarship and service on March 16, 2011, at the Founder's Day celebration in downtown Dover. This year's Founder’s Day theme, “Recognize the Past, Enrich the Present and Celebrate the Future,” will give the community a sneak peek of the College's newvcomprehensive marketing and branding campaign. 90-Day Student Housing Renovation for Luther College

February 25, 2011

Luther College in Decorah, Iowa has partnered with Credo and Opus Design Build to renovate two residential towers, Miller Hall and Dieseth Hall over the course of just one summer. Design and schematics are currently underway for the project, which is scheduled to begin in May of 2011 and to be completed in late August before students arrive back on campus. Patrick Henry College: ACMA Three-Peats

On January 14-15, 2011, the Patrick Henry College moot court team traveled to New Orleans for the 2011 ACMA National tournament at Tulane University Law School. This was PHC’s third championship in a row, adding to their five national moot court championships in the past seven years. Tim Fuller Presents at Annual CCCU Conference

Last week, Tim Fuller presented at the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU) annual Chief Enrollment Officers Conference and Financial Aid Administrators Conference in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. The conference, "Navigating Uncertain Waters," focused on the current state of the economy, trends in tuition discounting, and the implications these changes have for enrollment and retention. The Influence of Social Capital

Matt Stimpson, Ph.D., Director of Enrollment Research and Modeling at Credo, and colleagues examine the influence of measures of social capital on a low socioeconomic status (SES) student’s likelihood of enrolling in a four-year college or university. Using multilevel analysis, the study's results indicated that when controlling for school-level variables, academic achievement and preparation, and selected background characteristics, low-SES students with higher levels of social capital are more likely to enroll in a four-year college or university. Doane College Receives $20 million Shared Grant

Doane College in Crete, Nebraska, is one of seven colleges and universities to receive news they will be sharing a $20 million grant from the National Science Foundation. The five-year grant will support research focused on algae and nanotechnology. The grant will also help to increase collaboration among small and large educational institutions in Nebraska.
