Join The Talent Development Program
With Credo Facilitator Joretta Nelson, Ph.D., alongside campus partner Travis Feezell, Ph.D., Provost of Belmont Abbey College, middle talent leaders will have the opportunity to intentionally nurture their leadership potential and maximize their sphere of influence to positively impact students and the broader community.
About The Program: Praxis in Action
Talent at the middle of every institution bears a key responsibility for translating institutional strategy to the day-to-day work of supporting students through their college experience. Grounded in Credo’s Thriving Institutions research and supported by the REACH leadership assessment, this program builds personal leadership awareness and abilities, sets research-informed context for how students thrive in college, and exposes participants to the current realities and opportunities of higher education.
What is the REACH Assessment?
The REACH assessment measures the agility of individual leaders to adapt to the needs of different people, situations and tasks with a REACH quotient (RQ). It provides clear insights into agility, preferences, and leadership skills of individual contributors, leaders, and organizational behaviors that impact engagement and student success. This individual assessment identifies targeted leadership development competencies and evaluates a leader’s capacity to recognize and apply diverse styles for collaborative advantage. It can serve as a tool for divisional or institutional culture development and identifies strategies for motivating and engaging teams.
