Credo, LLC is currently seeking an Architectural Project Manager to be located in the De Pere, Wisconsin, or Whitsett, North Carolina, office. This person will be responsible for managing architectural projects through the integration of the firm’s mission to help independent higher education institutions thrive. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to make strategic decisions that positively impact service to our clients and profitability. This position shall be responsible for coordinating with the Senior Project Manager and architectural staff in developing proposals, AIA contracts, and managing project teams from conceptual design to construction, coordinating with outside consultants, and providing research for both technical design and higher education best practices. The Project Manager must have excellent organizational skills. This position will report to the Senior Project Manager.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

This role requires superior social skills, communication, and process organization skills in working collaboratively with the office leaders and staff, clients, field personnel, and external consultants. 

Required qualifications of the position are as follows:

• Baccalaureate or Master of Architecture NAAB accredited degree
• NCARB certification would be desired or can be attained and must be a registered US Architect; LEED® AP desired
• Minimum 10 years’ experience working on commercial projects within the USA, demonstrated experience in higher education preferred
• Excellent graphic presentation skills, communication and public speaking skills
• Strong technical skills, understanding of building codes, ability to understand and carryout intended design direction from clients and design team
• Proficient in Microsoft® Office required; experienced with AutoCAD®; Revit and Adobe Suite desired, but not a requirement
• Working in our Wisconsin or North Carolina office is required
• Travel within the USA will be required approximately 30 – 50%, must possess a valid USA driver’s license

Credo is seeking a Campus Planner to join our campus planning team to transform space and place and help students and institutions thrive. Rather than traditional architectural or urban master planning, the Campus Planner plays an integral role in Credo’s efforts in the following areas:

• partnering with client institutions to identify a desired student experience and the physical campus that enables it.
• contributing as a member of a team of planners and designers, aiding our partner campuses in envisioning their future institution.
• utilizing innovative media, including two- and three-dimensional graphics, site and space studies, and diagramming to assist in the effective communication to campuses and constituents.
• developing solutions based on the application of strategic direction, data, and space utilization information.
• developing as a knowledge leader in transformative campus environments.
• understanding the future of the entire campus as a learning environment in higher education, with increasing awareness of the needs of various populations.

Current campus planning services include campus master planning, focused space use planning, classroom use analysis, and participation in other Credo projects where space and place have an impact on the student experience. The position will report to the Director of Campus Planning. Credo offers the opportunity to work in either our Whitsett, North Carolina or De Pere, Wisconsin office. Travel is required including between our offices in Wisconsin and North Carolina and our partner campuses.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Architectural or Urban Planning Degree from an accredited U.S. college or university.
• Minimum seven to ten years of U.S. experience in campus planning, strategic, creative, and experimental use of space and place in higher education or similar complex learning environments.
• Demonstrated experience in higher education preferred.
• Demonstrable leadership, supervisory, and project management skills.
• Exceptional client presentation skills.
• Ability to convey strategic goals and experimental pedagogy to team members who create visual representations.
• Excellent writing skills and command of word processing, presentation, and publishing software (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe InDesign preferred).

Credo seeks a well-organized and enthusiastic Communications and Digital Marketing Intern for Spring and/or Summer 2019, who will assist the Marketing team with marketing initiatives, proposals, and events. This part-time intern position will report to the Marketing & Events Manager and work out of our Whitsett, NC office. This is a paid internship has the potential to count towards partial fulfillment for your degree.

Working closely with our internal marketing team, the Communications and Digital Marketing Intern will be involved with content, proposal, and data management. The person in this role will be treated as a member of the team and will partner with the marketing and sales team to plan, develop, and implement new projects as well as to build upon existing processes and systems.

Interns will work on a variety of projects ranging from proposal development support, proposal template development, event support, social media campaign development, support, and execution, and continued marketing strategy and process development.  The successful candidate will be an individual who enjoys learning, working with a wide range of people, and multi-tasking. This job will fit best with someone who is highly organized, has an aptitude for learning technology quickly and the ability to communicate effectively.

Credo seeks a well-organized, high energy professional who will serve in a consultant support role as Project Manager. This full-time position will report to the Vice President for Enrollment Solutions and work out of our Whitsett (Greensboro area), North Carolina, office. 

Working closely with our consulting team on client projects, the Project Manager will be involved in various aspects of project delivery. The Project Manager will serve the primary area of enrollment solutions, which encompasses assessment in the areas of undergraduate and/or graduate admissions, financial aid, and overall enrollment planning.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project logistics, preparation, deliverables, and follow up tracking for clients. This involves significant travel with the project team to client campuses throughout the year. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required and more than two years of relevant experience in higher education (admission, student success, marketing, events planning, or other related areas) or a professional services firm is strongly preferred.
