Architectural Intern

Credo’s architectural division, Credo Design Architects, is seeking an energetic Architectural Intern who enjoys working on small college and university campuses across the country developing unique student experiences. Position Description:

Full-time, entry level architectural support staff position to provide support to the architectural design and production team members performing architectural assignments on projects ranging in various size and complexity. This position will work alongside project designers and project architects utilizing REVIT, SketchUp, and other design software to produce documents from Schematic Design through Construction Documents. The primary responsibility will be to work in REVIT on a day-to-day basis developing projects with the project team and developing associated details, completing product research, and integrating current building standards into the projects. This position will require strong independent, self-starting skills, as well as a willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment to develop and complete projects. This position provides an opportunity to grow and develop a career in architecture.

The Architectural Intern can select to work out of our offices in Whitsett, North Carolina or De Pere, Wisconsin.

Desired Skills & Experience:

This role requires superior social skills, communication, and process organization skills in working collaboratively with the office leaders, staff, and external consultants.

Qualifications of the position are as follows:

  • Degree or Associates Degree in architecture or working towards degree completion
  • 3 – 5 years of United States based experience
  • Good technical skills and understanding of basic building construction and codes
  • Ability to understand and carryout intended design direction from senior design staff
  • Demonstrated experience in higher education would be a plus
  • Ability to understand and assemble Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction documents
  • Proficient in REVIT; Microsoft® Office required
