Project Manager

Credo seeks to hire an energetic, driven, and highly organized Project Manager for Student Success to join our growing team. The Student Success division maintains a comprehensive and integrated approach to serving our campus partners—we therefore desire a systems thinker who can apply real time learning in a fast-paced environment to help manage the structural, administrative, and logistical development and implementation of the department’s signature solution--Moving the Needle, as well as other key departmental/firm projects. The Project Manager plays a vital role in cultivating client relationships and guiding project development with optimal execution. Success in this area requires an individual who possesses exceptional relationship management, administrative, project coordination, and organizational skills to apply best practices that allow for the scale and replicability of Student Success solutions. This position will report to the Senior Project Manager for Student Success and supports projects for all members of the Student Success division. This position will require regular travel.

Position Responsibilities

  • Manage and support all aspects of Student Success projects including:
    • Communicating clearly with clients and keeping Student Success team members current and accountable across multiple projects
    • Extending hospitality by managing travel logistics, on-site needs, and otherwise ensuring clients have positive experiences with the Credo team
    • Prioritizing organizational planning and administrative project logistics, including coordinating and scheduling project meetings, preparing agendas and materials for meetings, and neatly documenting meetings through detailed notes
    • Taking initiative to drive project timeline and milestones, ensuring that all projects stay on track
    • Responding quickly and thoroughly to internal and external needs or requests
  • Work with clients to understand and translate their needs into action and employ solutions to promote successful relationships and outcomes
  • Coordinate, author, and update materials, presentations, and project deliverables
  • Initiate and coordinate the improvement of current products and services
  • Develop policies, practices, and protocols to promote project and product consistency as well as high quality deliverables
  • Design, update, and standardize templates, workflow solutions, and other strategies to enhance the efficiency of project planning, project implementation, and project tracking
  • Manage and support Affiliate (i.e., contractual/project-based) Consultants in relation to specific projects
  • Provide lead logistical and administrative coordination for project travel and/or related needs

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Master’s Degree required
  • Three years of experience leading projects and/or working as a project manager/project coordinator
  • Experience working in an educational environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with learning management systems
  • Demonstrated and applicable experience working with technologies to support project planning and communication such as project management software
  • Openness to exploring and learning new technology, systems and structures that emerge
  • Flexibility to adjust plans and approach
  • Exceptional planning and communication skills (oral, written)
  • Ability to design and edit documents, reports, presentations, and other client deliverables quickly and effectively
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, in a high-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proven experience functioning successfully at high levels of autonomy in ambiguous situations
  • Highly detailed and organized
  • Unwavering commitment to fostering a collaborative, inclusive environment

Location

This is a remote position with a home-based office and an extensive amount of travel around the country.  Proximity to an airport is necessary for this position. Standard office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm EST.

Preference may be given to qualified candidates in the Pacific or Mountain time zones.
