Brief project description
Luther’s original science facility was due for a serious upgrade. This exciting renovation provided an appealing academic experience for the departments that remained in the building after the completion of a new science center addition. The renovated facility became home to biology, physics, environmental sciences, nursing, and psychology. Also included within the building are general purpose (non-science) classrooms, making Valders an integrated academic hub for all students on campus. The complete renovation of the facility included the replacement of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and new finishes throughout that provided environmental branding for each department. The original two-story lobby was transformed into a student and faculty collaboration space that also serves as a beautiful, open event space for the campus.
