As the Director of Campus Planning, Kiki (she/her) brings a wealth of experience in both architecture and urban planning. With a Master of Architecture, a Master of Urban Planning, and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies, all from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Kiki is deeply committed to shaping spaces that are not only functional but also transformative. Her expertise lies in understanding the diverse needs of users and creating environments that foster learning, connection, and engagement.
INSPIRING SPACES, TRANSFORMING COMMUNITIES
What drives Kiki in her work is her passion for solving complex challenges. Whether reimagining campus landscapes or designing community spaces, Kiki thrives on collaboration and the excitement of envisioning what could be. Her recent projects include developing a new neighborhood that blends urban design with nature and designing a public market to activate downtown. Kiki's approach always involves creating spaces that are welcoming, equitable, and inspiring, while reflecting the cultural and social dynamics of the communities they serve.
"My two favorite words when working on projects are, "challenge accepted!" It's always energizing when my team collaborates to envision what could be, it is very powerful and inspiring."
A CONNECTION TO NATURE AND CREATIVITY
Outside of her professional life, Kiki enjoys starting her mornings with a cup of coffee and some yoga. She finds peace and creativity in nature, especially when near water or collecting rocks and driftwood from Lake Superior, which fuels her sense of wonder and appreciation for the natural world. Kiki studied Parisian parks while attending school at the École Spéciale d'Architecture in Paris, which further deepened her understanding of how public spaces can become central to a community’s life, a philosophy she brings to her work at Credo.
