A full day on campus for the first planning team meeting includes a review of Credo's analysis of the board and community input, an introduction to the Thriving Scorecard process, draft strategy map review, and timeline overview.
The Nuventive planning software is also introduced and a Data Steward, the person responsible for the deployment of the software, is appointed.
Virtual meetings with the Planning Team chair and Theme Teams facilitate the ongoing development of plan objectives and initiatives. Credo will then join your campus for a full day with the Planning Team to ensure alignment with the most important goals of the plan. The Data Steward and Planning Team chair are trained in the planning software at this time.
“Over the past decade, I have been a part of strategic planning for several different organizations. For most of these experiences, the bias and beliefs of the facilitator served as a detriment to the process. The Credo approach was refreshingly different. After first finding out about my general vision as President, they were able to efficiently work with our leaders to facilitate an outline of a plan that was both strategic and meaningful for our campus. In fact, the current version of our strategic plan looks quite similar to the draft that emerged after our first two-day workshop with Credo.”
