I’ve been thinking about many of the questions asked by our 70+ guests at the 2015 Credo Advising Institute last week, particularly about providing support for the actual conversations between advisor and advisee. I would like to share a great resource provided by the folks at Appreciative Advising, an invaluable inventory of “advisor questions” that could be a starting point at your institution for providing real guidance for your faculty and staff advisors in their critical conversations. Read it over and tell us what you think! My thanks to my colleagues leading the way in Appreciative Advising!
