Moving The Needle (MTN) is a campus-wide project that ignites a sustainable culture transformation, improves student retention and graduation rates, and increases net revenue. A key feature of Moving the Needle is the MTN Collaborative^©, built for campus talent to support their own leadership journeys while supporting one another and the organizations they serve. All campuses who participate in MTN have access to the MTN Collaborative for talent development, team and campus resourcing, and an ever-growing trove of student success resources for mission and vision focused colleges and universities.

What is the MTN Collaborative?

Share and problem-solve with others doing MTN work through talent development programs, learning communities, workshops, and summits including timely student success and retention topics and application ideas curated and facilitated by Credo.

Unpacking The MTN Collaborative

The MTN Collaborative is the resource and professional development component of MTN. It features a built-in support network, and an expanding curriculum to support leaders at all levels and the students and organizations they serve.

Talent Development

Available for Moving the Needle  partnership campuses during all phases of the project, the program builds personal leadership awareness and abilities, sets research-informed context for how students thrive in college, and exposes participants to the current realities and opportunities of higher education.

Learning Workshops
Credo’s Moving the Needle Learning Workshops are a component of the MTN Collaborative, a space for shared learning among MTN campuses. Available for participants in all phases of MTN, the goal of MTN Learning Workshops is to share knowledge, resources, and highlight best practices for student success.

As a result of participating in learning workshops, attendees will:
1. Learn solutions/strategies for a real-time issue in student success.
2. Be empowered to implement discussed solutions/strategies on their campus to improve the student experience and increase student retention.
These virtual workshops are open to all who work at our MTN campuses.

Learning Communities & Executive Coaching

For Student Success Champions in Phase 2 of MTN, groups of campuses join together to build excitement and dialogue about wins and opportunities related to student thriving and retention. Executive Coaching is also available.
