Ed Rowe

Associate Consultant For Leadership Strategies 

Ed comes to Credo after working in higher education for over a decade, with experience in strategic planning, crisis management, and board governance. Most recently, he served as chief of staff and secretary of the college at Swarthmore College, one of the premier liberal arts institutions in the nation. In this role, he counseled the president on a broad range of policy and communications issues and engaged the school’s board on long-term strategic priorities.

Prior to Swarthmore, Ed worked for the University of Denver as the chancellor’s director for projects and planning, managing the operations of the office and coordinating a university-wide strategic planning process that engaged over 4,000 constituents. He advocates for open and transparent communication with campus constituents as a way of building trust and engendering more support for shared institutional goals. Ed has a BA in English from Penn State and an MS in Management from the University of Denver.
